Counselling Center

A Counselling Centre was established at our college during the academic year 2017-18 to empower our student community. The primary objective of this Centre is to offer psychological support and mentoring to students facing challenges in their studies, behaviour, personal development, and adjustment, helping them enhance various aspects of their lives. Services provided include psychological counselling and psychotherapy, addressing issues such as child and adolescent concerns, learning difficulties, anxiety and panic disorders, sleep issues, experiences of abuse and neglect, relationship and family problems, and adjustment issues.

Class tutors identify students in need of psychological support and refer them to the Counselling Centre for further assessment and management. Dr. Dilshad Bin Ashraf, a faculty member in psychology, serves as the psychological counsellor. Beginning from the academic year 2023-24, a part-time Jeevani Counsellor has been appointed by the government to handle the psychosocial issues affecting our student population
