The Department of Mathematics was established in 1995, coinciding with the founding year of the college. Initially, the department offered a complementary course for the first-degree program in Chemistry until last year. Starting from the academic year 2024-25, the department has introduced minor courses, value-added courses, and skill enhancement courses that are open to all students.
Our department is committed to providing students with a robust education covering various aspects of Mathematics, including basic linear algebra, vector algebra, differentiation, integration, and more. Our curriculum is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience, complemented by access to a well-equipped library.
Furthermore, we aim to equip our students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. This includes training in document typesetting with LaTeX, as well as programming in Python and R. These skills are essential for both academic excellence and professional development in today's competitive environment.
